Hello and thank you for stopping by to find out more about Paint Your Canvas. My name is Sheryn Kelderhouse, proud proprietress. As women, we are so many things to so many people. Sometimes we find ourselves putting ourselves last. Fading. We don’t mean for it to happen. It just does. We become everything to everyone else and then something tragic happens: We lose ourselves. But don’t despair, dear friend! Help is on the way!

Like you, I am many things to many people. I am a wife, mother, dragon slayer, artist, teacher, friend...and so much more. And like you, I have been through my share of trials and tribulations, triumphs and tragedies. After conquering my obstacles I began to see cracks of light under the doors I had always thought were closed to me. Opening those doors have led me to the place I am today. I’m proud to say that I have finally arrived at a place where I know my life’s purpose. I am here to put it into action and I want to share it with all of you. Paint Your Canvas is a huge part of that.

Recently, I closed my brick and mortar store, Vintage Bliss. I pondered what I wanted to do next. I was initially planning to continue with the online store facet of my retail shop, when I was hit with several life-changing tragedies. I began to truly question what I was doing. I began to hear a small voice. A calling. It was then that I knew what I needed to do to fulfill my soul and how I could make a difference on this planet.

Paint Your Canvas was born. Paint Your Canvas is comprised of several components. First, is a retail shop packed with unique and creative goods to inspire you to express who you are and what you dream of. I will also be offering workshops, classes, and retreats for women who want to start their own business. To follow their dreams. To live a life full of passion. To fulfill their creative soul. A portion of the proceeds from my shop will be donated to raise money for two different charities that are changing the world and are close to my heart; Building Futures and The Box Project.

I am so grateful to have had brilliant, creative, talented, fearless geniuses in my life that have guided me along my journey. They have given me the courage to take leaps of faith and jump in for what I believe in. I will be your guide through Paint Your Canvas and support you along the way. I am looking forward to working together as we start anew with a blank canvas. We shall uncover the ‘youest’ you. Choose your own colors, textures, styles and design your truest you.
